Good News! OMCE Bill PASSES the Senate

OMCE’s Hearing Officer Bill (S.1540/A.3332)—which would make hearing officer decisions final and binding, just as they are for unions—has passed unanimously in the Senate.  The bill has been referred to the Assembly Governmental Employees Committee.

OMCE will continue to advocate for the rest of our bills which are all in their assigned committees.

• S812B/A2035B establishes a toll free confidential hotline for complaints of workplace harassment;
• S3395B/A2483B includes the State and all public employers as subject to the provisions of the Human Rights law;
